And to tie this in to the Mondegreen thread:

There is a family story about a cousin who was interviewing an immigrant.
The immigrant claimed he came to the US in 1904 on the _Titanic_.  My cousin
was unable to convince the man this was impossible, as the _Titanic_ was not
launched until 1912.  Finally she did some research.  Yes, the man arrived in
the US in 1904, on the _SS Teutonic_.
