Shooting fish...

There's a commercial out for a new PS2 game, some military shooter game,
anyway, the point is that it's a bunch of college kids vs. a military
officer.  In the end the officer wins (obviously) and says:

"It's like shooting fish in a bucket"

I've never shot fish in anything but a barrel.  I was wondering if anyone
else was familiar with this "bucket" variant.
