Not all new words are in OED.  I'm surprised at this one though.

First entered in The Barnhart Dictionary of New English (c. 1973) with
an e.q. of 1970 and later in The Third Barnhart Dictionary of New
English (c. 1990) with an e.q. of 1968.  It has also been entered in
MW10, 12,000 Words, Longman Register of New Words, American Heritage 4,
Webster's New World, and RHWCD.
