When I search for "movies" on Questia I come up with Richard Harding
Davis, The Man Who Could Not Lose (1911).  So this ties the Washington
Post usage I posted previously as the earliest known citations for "movie"
if the 1902-03 citation in HDAS/OED turns out to be erroneous.
