OED has 1966 for the Shirley Temple cocktail. Merriam-Webster's 11th
doesn't have it.
The "Shirley Temple" (a non-alcoholic cocktail) was supposedly invented at
the Brown Derby in the 1930s, but who knows for sure? I'll re-check it when
the ProQuest full text LOS ANGELES TIMES contains the 1930s and 1940s (in
about a month or two).
   Meanwhile--it's not later than this.

2 February 1946, OXNARD PRESS COURIER (Oxnard, California), pg. 3, col. 5:
Shirley Temple at Lucey's being served a "Shirley Temple" cocktail which
the management serves to kids and which contains pink syrup and fruit.
