As a newcomer to this site, I would suggest that the 'owners' of the
English language are all those who use, misuse and even abuse it. Or
would some people prefer to sit on some equivalent of the Academie
Francaise and hand down judicial pronouncements on neologisms and
incoming words from other languages?
