"Didn/t use to" does feel a little strange, because we're so used to seeing
"used to"; but it just follows the normal pattern.

Past tense of "have" = "had" or "did have", negative "didn't have"
Past tense of "go" = "went" or "did go", negative "didn't go"
Past tense of "like" = "liked" or "did like", negative "didn't like"
Past tense of "use" = "used" or "did use", negative "didn't use"

All can be followed by "to."
