OED has "E. Acton MODERN COOKERY (1845)" for "nesselrode cream" and then 1877 for "nesselrode pudding." I don't know what the revised OED has.
I've got hundreds of terms to look up today, and the American Periodical Series won't advance beyond a blank screen. I'll tell you later if there's earlier.
