   I love this cake.  It reportedly was invented at Ebinger's Bakery in Brooklyn, but the BROOKLYN DAILY EAGLE database ends too early.  The NEW YORK TIMES coverage--even of Brooklyn--is just pitiful.  It's also called "Chocolate Decadence," which I'll do below.
