Program for ADS Annual Meeting January 8-10

At long last the final adjustments have been made in the program for the ADS
annual meeting. Speakers, topics, times, and rooms in the Sheraton Boston are
all spelled out in a pdf document available at our website

www.americandialect.org

Now if you'd like to volunteer to chair one of our sessions, let me know, and
also let me know your preference of sessions. Once we get the session chairs
in place, we'll post an update. ("We" is me and Grant Barrett, our great
webmaster.)

If you notice anything wrong, also, please let me know.

The program appears in the September issue of the Newsletter of the American
Dialect Society, but that newsletter is delayed - personal obligations. I and
the newsletter should be back on schedule in January. Thanks for your
