Does anyone know whether Proposition 54 would affect sociolinguistic
research at public colleges in California?
This measure, which is on tomorrow's ballot, restricts the ability of
state agencies to classify individuals by race, ethnicity, etc. There
are exceptions for medical research, but what about social science research?
