Here's something in the intersection of the two.

Mets' Rick Peterson, interviewed yesterday by Chris "Mad Dog" Russo,
said his goal for the pitchers on the Met staff was "to untap their
potential".  This could be a blend of "tap" and "unleash", but then
similar observations could be for some of the other redundant
un-verbs now established (e.g. "unthaw" < "thaw" + "unfreeze").
