Apparently, the meaning of 'Santorum' has been in question for a while,
dating to when the good Senator came into office.  Bob Kerry, according
to the following discussion, attempted to define the Latin meaning of
Santorum.  No cite is provided for Bob Kerry's alleged comment.

A more interesting question, and one that would be difficult to answer,
is the usage history of:  "(word/phrase), that's Latin (or French, or
German, or whatever) for (negative word/phrase)".  Dave Barry uses the
approach in his humor columns.
