Greetings from the Mirlin Hotel in Kumasi, Ghana...The slave "castles" today were impressive and many times the size of the building on Goree Island, famously visited by the Clintons and others. No famous person has visited these UNESCO sites?...You'll hear several times that Kofi Anan is from Ghana.
One cookbook to report so far. Let me know if you want additional details...I bought three copies ($3 each)...You can Google to determine the dish's popularity in English...Some recipes are West African or other, and not just from Ghana.
