Brooklyn Historical Society Library--Summer 2004

   I e-mailed the Brooklyn Historical Society Library about when it would
re-open.  The BHS web site still says it will re-open in 2003.
   Summer 2004.
   Rarely has an institution--that didn't suffer a fire or other Act of
God--completely closed down for so long.
