it was stressed on the second syllable all the way through the Fresh
Air interview.  i just went back and replayed the interview.

no doubt there are people named Brazile who pronounce the name with
stress on the first syllable.  but i doubt very much that up-front,
outspoken Donna Brazile would have put up with an interviewer
mispronouncing her name repeatedly on air.
