"Ralph" is in the American Heritage Dictionary, but not Merriam-Webster.  The
Cassell Dictionary of Slang has 1970s+.  "Echoic" is given.  The HDAS currently
stops at the letter "O."
   But was it at all influenced by Ralph Kramden of Jackie Gleason
HONEYMOONERS fame, or Ralph Nader?  Ralph Mouth?
