"jazz" in painting, 1915/1916

I don't have the book here now -- I looked at it at the NYPL, and it's been ordered for this library but isn't here yet -- but this version of the painting was described as something like "signe et date" (or shuuld this be with "ee"s) so "Jazz 3e et" must be in the hand of Gleizes.
