My wife and I have collected a number of these over the years.  One was a
night club in Brooklyn called the Eleganté, pronounced that way.  And my
late mother-in-law (who should have been a linguist) heard someone a number
of years ago on Washington Week in Review say [rezone dEtre] (i.e. as if
there were acute e's after both words).
