I remember those days. But are you old enough to recall when the name
of Mad Magazine was "Tales Calculated to Drive You MAD!" But, even when
Mad was supposed to be a horror comic, it was still a joke book. Cf.
the tale of "Batboy and Ruben," in which the former reveals that he is
- wait for it - a _vampire_ Batboy!
