Well, the team (including Herschel Walker) did disband, along with
the league, so "untied" isn't inaccurate.  I'd forgotten about the
Washington Federals (I didn't follow the USFL religiously myself),
but that's obviously not a "bonified" contender for the new NL team;
given the various associations of "Feds".  No wonder the USFL team
had to leave town and turn into Renegades.
