Here's V-Day for us old-timers:
May 8, 1945, V-E Day - the date of Allied victory in Europe, World
War II, but commonly known amongst us old codgers as simply "V-Day."
There is also August 15, 1945, V-J Day - the date of Allied victory
over Japan, World War II.
Neither valentines nor vaginas were involved.
