Serbian grammar

In addition to my many other jobs, I direct the Writing Center at Minot
State. We have a new student from Serbia who's having trouble writing
papers. I'd like to help my tutors out by giving them some structural
issues to look for in his grammar-- like syntax, inflections, things
like that, that might be carry overs from Serbian. Can anyone point me
to a quick web site or article or text that might have some basic info
on the structure of this languages? It's not one I'm familiar with.

Thanks!

Freeman - And what drives you on, fighting the monster?

Straker - I don't know, something inside me I guess.

Freeman - It's called dedication.

Straker - Pig-headedness would be nearer.
