"Assumably" = "Probably" ?

The syntax here is painful, but the tenor of the statement seems to require a word meaning "probably."  (Why would one "assume" they are the easiest to breed.)

Perhaps being the most practical among all blue tongue skinks, they are assumably the easiest to breed, and also to have the highest number of offspring...sometimes up to 25! They are among the heaviest of the blue tongues, and also particularly affectionate."
