Nicaragua

Silvia Poggioli (not Pogg<l>ioli) is apparently a bilingual native speaker
of Italian and English. She was probably pronouncing "Nicaragua" as Italian.
Or maybe, since she is more used to multilingual discourse than almost any
English speaker, she *was* pronouncing it as Spanish.

So why not say "Nicaragua" as it is said in Spanish, if you can? Anglophone
monolingualism is parochial, if you ask me.
