Well, it might be someone acquainted with you that you'd rather not
speak to.  Whenever I get a phone call for "Dr. Laurence Horn" it's
either my undergraduate or graduate alma mater asking for
contributions to their alumni fund.  Maybe these aren't real
acquaintances, though.
