Lynching redux

I grew up in Lynchburg, VA, still have relatives there, and in fact, will return for the annual "Lynchburgers Day" celebration this weekend. The city was founded by John Lynch in the 1700's, though, no doubt, blacks were lynched there as in other parts of the South.
