Text analysis

Colleagues,

Can someone direct me to a downloadable text analyzer, one of the
very simplest sort to wokr on digital English texts. What is needed
is word count and the ability to search for collocations, with
perhaps simple statistical tools added. Perhaps someone knows of a
review of a variety of such software.
