OT: My sister got two free tickets, but I didn't want to see it (why remake
a screen classic and still leave it in the 1930s?), so we gave the tickets
away. My fiance then bought the movie King Kong for $5 on the street.  The first
two hours are unwatchable--poor and needless character  development,
illogical scenes, etc. The modern special effects look incredibly  fake. Adrian Brody
gets hurled in a cab (without a seat belt), and then is OK  within two
minutes? Naomi Watts wears almost no clothes and frolics with an  ape on frozen ice?
