Dialects in film

I already ragged DeNiro for his bad southern accent in the Cape Fear remake.  I just saw a bit of Al Pacino in "People I Know"; again, a bad southern accent from a New Yorker.  

On the other hand, Robin Wright Penn nailed a southern accent in "Toys".
