I was walking around Chinatown. Mikata Japanese Cuisine, 150 Centre Street,
has "Donburi (Rice Delicacies)." I see from the archives that I had posted a
fine 1962 citation for "domburi," but that's it.

Domburi
This is a heavy earthenware lidded bowl much used in Japan, and also refers
to the food cooked or served in it.
