Johnson may have said "cop a Sunday", but I'm pretty sure it was "cop a
sunny", and that is also what the closed captioner transcribed. Johnson
was a cowboy from Oklahoma before he got into the movies, so if it is a
regional variation, that would be where to look for it, I suppose.
