Briefly scanning the 'gook' data, I noticed the item above, which does
clearly specify a status hierarchy.

But the other 'gook' hits seem to be synonymous with the geek/nerd mainstream.

(A few 'gooks' refer to corrupted output, probably short for 'gobbledygook'.)
