I've never seen "palooza" as an independent word, so it must be pretty new.

What's it mean ?

Forgive me, I just tried emailing this out but I do not
believe it worked. I hope it hasnt been sent twice!

My assignment for my linguistics class involves finding a
word or a phrase that I believe to have been introduced
into the language within the past 10 years. In an AOL
advertisement I found "palooza". The sentence reads, "High
speed music lover meet your personal palooza". I've never
encountered "palooza" on its own; only as a suffix to
words like lalapolooza. Does anyone really know what
PALOOZA means? And, has anyone seen it prior to
Lalapolooza? Thanks!
