"Cold-footed" appears with some frequency in journalism of 80 or more years ago.

One nice variant I heard on TV yesterday, courtesy of Michael Wilbon
of ESPN's PTI: "the cold-footed Jennifer Wilbanks". I note there
are 3710 google hits for this lovely adjective, but I can't recall
coming across one before.
