Article on the term "jazz"

    For those interested in the origin of the  term "jazz," I'll present draft #3 on this topic in the October/November issue of Comments on Etymology.  The input of various scholars within and outside academia is included, with due credit of course.

     The issue is a long one (141 pages), and I therefore plan to print very few extra copies.  If anyone would like just a copy of this issue, the cost will be six dollars, which includes mailing, and please let me know within two weeks. Checks should be made payable to Comments on Etymology and mailed to me at the address below.  Incidentally, the publication of Comments on Etymology is a solely scholarly, non-profit endeavor.
