"Service dog" has replaced "seeing-eye dog." I saw a message  about "service
dogs" at the local post office. (I hope they're not  delivering the mail.) Why
is it not in the OED?

RED MASS--I see that OED does have "red mass," but the entry doesn't  explain
the legal connection (how long has this tradition happened at the  U.S.
Supreme Court?) and should be revised and improved (both definition  and dates).
