Teen talk: Add these yap-happy expressions to your slang vocabulary, both
for laughs and color. Around the country, high schoolers are greeting each
other with "Hi, peeps" (short for "hello, people," of course) and saying,
"Farewell and thank you, cheering thousands," for the big good-by.
Funniest, most fitting, and probably most effective squelch for junior
wolf boys, whose eyes light up at the sight of a lonesome girl, is simply,
"Down, Fang!"
