1914 _Lincoln Daily News_ 30 June 7 (Newspaperarchive)  Eddie Collins in a
magazine article: ... only once in the whole series did he throw me his
most noted ball, the 'fadeaway,' a sort of a slow, screw ball, that breaks
away from a left-hander.
