Corn rolls - eggcorn

Seems unlikely. "Draw" in this sense is not listed in the OED while
"drawer" is cited from  the late 19th C. Are the early primary
sources you have seen all US? (This is a common form in Michigan
among non-l-vocalizers, by the way.)
