Sam Houston quote needed; Anonymous internet "Texas Blessing"

Given that my birthplace, Marshall, Texas, styles itself "The Fire-Ant
Capital of the World" and sponsors an annual Fire-Ant Festival, a
happening so major that it was once mentioned in TIME, my WAG is that
the Texas version may be the original.
