I was about to correct that to "aneurysm," but OED recognizes the variant.

A surgeon explains on Fox that Sen. Johnson's aneurism "could affect an eloquent part of the brain." He did not seem to be referring to language areas specifically, but even if he was the OED doesn't cover this sense.
