When the Univ. of Southern California played the Univ. of Texas for
the 2005 national championship in college football, the USC boosters
talked of going for a "threepeat" (copyright Pat Riley). USC had won
the championship outright in 2004, but in 2003 they had only won the
Associated Press title -- Louisiana State won the BCS title, which is
the officially recognized one. Irate LSU fans always remind USC fans
of this, especially after USC claims for a "dynasty" were dashed when
Texas won in 2005. Now there's a billboard that's been put up near the
USC campus with the taunting question, "Shouldn't dynasties win more
than one?" The billboard was underwritten by the website
