1865 _N.Y. Times_ 24 Aug. 8 (ProQuest)  The Atlantics, however, were minus
the services of PEARCE, PRATT and SID. SMITH, their catcher, pitcher and
right fielder, two of them being sick and the others in Philadelphia.
