<<"Angels on Horseback" is the name of a toothsome dish .... The recipe for
mounting the angels is as follows: "Wrap a large oyster in a thin slice of
fat bacon. Put this on a long skewer: do the same to as many as the skewer
will hold: roast them before the fire. Serve as they are on a dish-paper,
with a serviette to hold the end of the skewer while removing each with a
fork." Dismounting "angels" with a fork is good.>>
