I see earlier cites for "wedding gift registry" (ad for J.W. Robinson,
3/17/33), "bride's registry" (ad for J.W. Robinson, LAT, 6/4/35), and
"bridal gift registry" (ad for Bullock's, LAT, 5/13/46).
So do we get to find out where the happy couple is registered?
