'University Executives' (somewhat OT)

Many of us on this list are members of the faculty at various
universities, primarily in North America.  For a research project I
am doing that is only peripherally related to the goals of this list
I would be interested in your reaction to the term 'university
executives' as a label for the group of people that includes the
Provost, the Vice President for Research and the VP for
Administration, among others.  Random comments and off-the-cuff
reactions would be appreciated, perhaps best if off-line.
