"Oprah strikes a blow for truthiness" ?

Isn't that a stupidism for "Oprah strikes a blow *against* truthiness" ?

I will later regret having ever typed these words, but here goes:
Stephen Colbert was right. Truthiness reigns.

Larry King also mentioned "truthiness" on his show about Frey, though
he attributed to Frank Rich (is Larry King next on Colbert's "Dead to
Me" list?).

RADZIWILL: I mean, I think we've gotten so used to being lied to, that
we don't even recognize it when we read it. So, yes, it would be in a
perfect world, we'd be talking about, you know, other lies.
Unfortunately, we're talking about Mr. Frey's lies.
KING: Truthiness, as Frank Rich calls it.
RADZIWILL: Yes.
