Duke Ellington Quotes

I'm now working on the proofs for the Yale Book of Quotations, and notice
that I have an erroneous quote by Duke Ellington that needs to be replaced
with another quote by Duke Ellington.  Can anyone suggest any famous
quotations by Ellington?  I already have the following:

Playing "Bop" is like Scrabble with all the vowels missing.

Fate is being kind to me.  Fate doesn't want me to be famous too young.

Jazz was like the kind of man you wouldn't want your daughter to associate
with.
