Hello,

I thought this list was a discussion list so I subscribed to it. Now it
looks as if it is only an announcement list. But I will post a query here
anyway for all of you wordiacs.

Do you any of you know the origin of the word 'mosey'. In my mind the
definition of mosey would be to walk along slowly or aimlessly.

I have an idea where this word might have originated but I would be most
interested to hear if any of you have any thoughts on it's origin.
